Las Vegas entertainers came together for a star-studded fashion to promote the new pro-mask campaign, #MaskUp4NV. Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak announced on June 24 that he was mandating that everyone is required to wear a face covering when they are indoors in a public place beginning June 26. In partnership with e+ Productions, ESA presented the fashion show at the iconic “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign on June 25.

The Las Vegas entertainment community came together to celebrate the wearing of masks to slow the spread of COVID-19. The glamorous fashion show wanted to reinforce to all locals and tourists that wearing a cover protects others’ lives.

In addition to the #MaskUp4NV hashtag, each participant carried a sign with the #IMaskUp4____ hashtag expressing why they proudly wear their mask while in public.

The fashion show was also a part of a more extensive social media campaign spearheaded by local celebrities. Everyone is encouraged to explore #MasKUp4NV in the coming weeks for further updates and additional ways to support it.

“We started this movement together, to support our local entertainment community and the incredibly hard-working employees of the hospitality industry,” says Greg Chase, CEO of Experience Strategy Associates. “We can get through this together because the show must go on, and we applaud Governor Sisolak’s mandate to keep all Nevadans safe.”

“People working together for the common good of one another is are the forefront of our messaging. [Hashtag] MASKUP4NV wants to encourage all people to not think about themselves, but of their own loved ones and how you would want them protected,” adds Douglas Johnson, President of e+ Productions. “This event was a true joy to co-produce with Greg Chase, and our team of volunteer performers was simply spectacular. Each one eagerly said yes, and got up before dawn to share their collective energy for this cause. What a joy to be part of such an amazing project. Thanks so all who help make it such a huge success.”

One of the participants, Brent Barrett, has entertained audiences from the stages of Broadway, Las Vegas Strip, and The West End. Barrett relocated to Las Vegas to open the production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular” at the Venetian Resort.

Award-winning Broadway and Las Vegas entertainer Travis Cloer supports Las Vegas with his talent and giving back to the community. His performances include a record-breaking run as the longest-running actor to play the role of Frankie Valli in the Tony and Grammy award-winning hit Jersey Boys, with over 2,200 performances. He has performed with the symphonies of Las Vegas, Buffalo, and Salt Lake City along with the world-famous Radio City Rockettes.
