How many employees does your company have?

We currently have 10 employees and are actively hiring insurance professionals, operations and administration roles, and marketing positions to carry our service, message and network nationwide.

What services or products do you offer?

We often get called to help businesses navigate through contracts and regulations that require basic or initial insurance requirements, but our relationship with each client goes beyond insurance for operational and pre-operational businesses.

We continue to bring value to our clients throughout the business lifecycle, leveraging the knowledge we gain about each business to strategically accelerate that clients’ growth.

We discern a business’s needs, then provide recommendations and referrals for services that our clients require to operate smoothly and manage risk. Our team has developed expertise to identify problems before they arise, while providing guidance to help navigate the many hurdles of regulatory and contractual compliance.

What made you choose to start a company in this industry?

In 2016, as legalization in MA was on the horizon, a syndicate of insurance professionals were fielding questions and concerns from their clients in the Northeast. Most of these concerned clients were involved in real estate, property management and professional services. Our agency came together to help these local professionals respond to the insurance requirements and regulatory hurdles of a new and burgeoning industry. We soon became part of a community that we love. We are dedicated to helping this community grow and succeed, while proactively managing risk.

Why do you feel your business is important to the community?

The cannabis industry operates in a highly regulated and risk-prone ecosystem. Navigating insurance coverage is one of many challenges to launching and sustaining a cannabis business. We understand the industry’s risks and regulations, and our specialists have the underwriting experience and relationships to guide businesses through the insurance roadmap. We are strategic advisors, going beyond insurance and becoming integral to advancing and protecting a business’ growth.

Where can people find you?

For the convenience of all we are set up to help virtually, if preferred, but we have a team of licensed agents who often meet clients at their own facility. We also meet with clients of the community at our headquarters in Natick, MA. Our office sits proudly over a local family owned restaurant where we treat our clients who visit us for lunch or gatherings. We truly enjoy personalizing our relationship with each client and bringing our community together.
