Terp Float Oklahoma returns to the Sooner State Aug. 3-5. Celebrate with three days of live music, river float trips on the Illinois River, camping, the best canna brands, and more than 10 food trucks. Dance to the musical mix of multiple genres, such as funk, blues, jam, funk, bass, and electro-funk.

Diamondhead Resort is the place for camping, floats, kayaking, and rafting on the Illinois River in Tahlequah. It does not allow personal boats on the property, but all float gear is provided, including craft, paddles, and life vests.

If staying off-property, guests can use public river access points, bring their own floats, and still attend the festival. Guests are then welcome to stay and enjoy its facilities, including picnic areas, sand volleyball pits, horseshoes, a basketball court, and a playing field.

Diamondhead Resort also features the best campgrounds on the Illinois River, motel rooms, and bunkhouses with air conditioning. Campgrounds feature 30 amp/50 amp RV sites, campsites with electricity access, bathrooms, and primitive camping with extra privacy. Camps can be set up on the banks of the Illinois River. — DH
