Colorful Sonoman wine country is showcased and celebrated in this painting by award-winning Sonoma County artist, Dan Scannell. He is the former Visual Director of I. Magnin in San Francisco and was an instructor at the de Young Museum Art School, but shifted in recent years to focus on his art.
He first channeled his creative energy into designing papergoods and fabric, but today paints inspiring landscapes, street scenes, homes, and natural scenery with oil and soft pastel paints. The inspiration for this painting, and many of Scannell’s works, is Northern California and its surrounding cities, scenery, and landmarks. See his art in person at his studio and gallery at 312 South A Street, Santa Rosa, or online at danscannell.com.
