Discover a Rhode Island resource for all things related to sex and sexuality.
Most people associate New Englanders with our buttoned-up Puritan forebears, but The Center for Sexual Pleasure & Health (CSPH) in Providence is on a mission to change this perception. The nonprofit aims to provide “culturally inclusive, medically accurate, and pleasure-informed sexuality education, therapy, and professional training” with the goal of helping adults engage in open dialogue about sex and sexuality, and helping parents and caregivers teach young people about their bodies, sexuality, and consent. Although CSPH normally offers a number of in-person workshops, classes are currently being held virtually, some costing as little as $3. Visit the organization’s website for a schedule and more information.
